so i haven’t perfected my technique yet… whenever i make my steel cut oats in a nonstick pan i get a layer of crust on the bottom. one day i poured 1/4? 1/8? of a cup of water and kept the heat on low. eventually the layer starts to flake off the bottom of the pan and creating these tasty cracker like pieces? keep an eye on it because it can burn…10-15 minutes.
